Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was fast & easy. We arrived around 1:30pm, no lines at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Steakhouse was great as usual. We had YTD; MDR staff as awesome. Lido buffet was okay; seemed like there were fewer selections.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Mostly relaxed this cruise and didn't go for many activities. Weather was also cool on the sea days.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
MDR staff was very nice; Ardika was a stand-out. Our room steward left a lot to be desired. Didn't see him until day 2, dirty glasses left in room and had to ask several times for ice bucket to be refilled.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The Pride is an easy ship to navigate with one dining room at rear of the ship. It recently came out of dry dock but there were still areas on the balconies that showed rust (a lot). The common areas were always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was a nice size and had a sofa. Balcony had 2 chairs.

Ship tip

The Pride is a smaller ship but has a lot to offer. Use the FunTimes or download the Carnival hub app.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
It's a tender port and you'll need a tender ticket if you want to get off early. Lunch is provided so you don't need to worry about that; several bars available if you want to purchase beer or drinks. The beach is divided into several areas, some areas a little rocky. You cannot access the beach from directly in front of most of the cabanas.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Opted for a day pass at the Riu. Large sandy beach area. Would go again.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Originally planned to do a beach but found an awesome ATV excursion with S&D Tours. Guide took us to the north end of the island for awesome rides on a beach. After exploring several trials we took a hike through the woods and ended up with a surprise 50 foot jump into a blue hole!

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Very disorganized. They seemed to lose track and were very slow in calling zone numbers.
