Really enjoyed the Journey Cruise (except for the Dr E, the cruise director)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent variety of food

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The reason for my low mark is 2 fold; 1. I found the Cruise Director, Dr E, to be loud and obnoxious. and 2. On past cruises on this ship any activities that were occurring in the midship pool area were not broadcast over the speakers into the forward pool area. Every activity that happened on sea days at pool side was broadcast extremely loud over the speakers in t the forward pool area. Were could not hear each other talk. I approached several staff and the cruise director and he told me there was nothing they could do about it. I told him it was not like that last year on the same cruise and he said it was. He was not cruise director on that cruise and I'm not even sure he was on the ship then!

Service and Staff

Sawan in My Time dining was the best server we have ever had!!! Thank you Sawan! Ellaisa in house keeping on the pool deck made our time on the pool deck enjoyable. She was pleasant, friendly and very accommodating. Le Anne, Junior Waiter in My Time Dining was excellent, very helpful and always tried to seat us in Sawan's section for dinner. All of the staff were excellent! Our room steward did an excellent job keeping our room tidy! Thank you!!
