Going to the bottom line, because of rough seas in the Chesapeake Bay we were late getting started ... because of rough seas in the Chesapeake Bay we were late getting back. My advise is ... don’t sail out of Baltimore, problem solved.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
We were delayed 4 hours before be allowed to board and departure was 6 hours late. I understand it was because of rough seas, but it certainly made embarkation less than pleasant.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The main dining room was awesome ... the pizza restaurant has really good pizza ... the burger joint, extremely good burgers (greasy but good) ... the buffet was like all buffets.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I enjoyed the casino (I always enjoy casinos). We went to the Comedy Club one night, it was pretty good. We also really enjoyed “Imprint”, a violin trio, who played in one of the lounges. Imprint is truly amazing ... they will go far!
Entertainment

We loved the violin trio Imprint. They were awesome!
Children's Programs
We didn’t have kids with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone did everything they could to ensure everything was perfect. Our cabin steward, l Ketut, was outstanding. He was always pleasant with a warm smile. Of course we had new “towel animals” daily and our bed was turned down every evening.
Ship Quality

People were constantly cleaning. Cleaning seemed to be a high priority.
Cabin / Stateroom

A balcony is well worth the extra cost. The size of the room was ok (as good as it can be on a boat). Our cabin steward always made sure our room was clean.
Baltimore Inner Harbor is wonderful (except for the Hilton Pier 5 Curio hotel which is terrible!!!). Great restaurants, nice hotel (except for the Curio, their GM Daniel is a lair), shopping is nice and lots of things to do.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Lots of little shops to sell trinkets to tourist. Unlike Nassau, in Freeport you know you are buying junk, a souvenirs ... anything with the word Bahamas on it.
We were 5 hours late getting into port. Like when we departed it was due to rough seas in the Chesapeake Bay. I’m not blaming Carnival but it really caused me some problems. I had allowed myself plenty of time to get to my appointment ... but now I was two hours late.
It's just this time of year with the weather they get up north the Waters get a little rough. I lived up there for 15 years and crossed that bridge more times than I can remember.
