Carnival Pride Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas

Mediocre at best

Sail Date: July 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

This ship has seen better days. We had a premium balcony cabin. The balcony ceiling was pitted and rusted. The remainder of the ship is shabby and outdated. The main dining room food was nondescript and reminiscent of cafeteria food (the Mermaid Grill was much better and is recommended). The comedy club is good. This was my 41st cruise so I know enough to compare ships and cruise lines.

Pros: Convenience of sailing from Baltimore

Cons: Shabby ship\, blah food\, horrible entertainment\, short stays in port

Recommends Carnival Pride? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
I'm being generous since the Mermaid Grill (buffet) was okay.
Cabin / Stateroom
Clean but in much need of upgrading and repairs. The A/C was not great.
Service and Staff
It's not their fault.
Pitiful stage shows.
