not worth another consideration

Sail Date: August 01, 2013

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

my overall impressions of the Carnival Pride is that she is in need of an overhaul...ripped carpet\, old ripped\, spotted curtains\, broken or burned out light bulbs. broken lamps. dusty\, spotted walls. there seemed to be no \"pride of ownership\" on the Pride. was very disappointed with this\, our second and last cruise on Carnival Pride.

Pros: being with my family

Cons: food/run down look

Recommends Carnival Pride? No.

Ship Quality
ship size and layout were fine. over all condition of the ship was very disappointing.
Food and Dining
food quality was way lower than average\, restaurant variety seemed non existent. always the same ethnic foods every day. dining times fine. ambiance was no better than so so. did not do specialty options because of the disappointment in other areas of the cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
size of stateroom\, overall comfort and location were as remembered from a previous cruise. condition of stateroom little more than Motel 6 on water.
Service and Staff
ship staff was okay. but only okay. nothing special.
only one show was inviting for us\, the \"Motown\" signer. was not interested in any of the other offerings.
