A fun, relaxing vacation

Sail Date: May 01, 2013

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We sailed on this ship years ago when it was brand new. Overall it has aged very well. The roof on our balcony was rusted through and hanging down and flapping in the wind. It looked like it could easily become a safety hazard if strong winds were to hit it. We did report this to guest services.

Pros: Embarkation was the easiest we have had

Cons: The lack of quality and amount of choices on buffet

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Food wasn't anything to write home about. We don't know if Carnival has really scaled back since our last Carnival cruise or if we got spoiled on another cruise line. The portions in the dining room were small.
Cabin / Stateroom
Other than the issue with the balcony, everything was great with the stateroom. We loved the location.
Service and Staff
Our cabin steward was awesome. He remembered our names and stateroom number even when we were walking down the hallway.
