Review summary
we weren't sure about making a six hour drive from the Northeast to Baltimore but it was definitely worth it comparedto flying to Florida. the ship has lots for the kids to do. the dinner food is good but get the early time and not dine in your own time. if you don't go at 545 or 815 they will give you a beeper and you have to wait about an hour. The little trivia games were fun and they give out trophies. They do a dance at 7:05 and 920 most nights at dinner. try to find an excursion or take a taxi to one of the beaches. But if you stay on the ship you can ride the slide by yourself whereas the line is long when the ship is at sea and the weather is hot. the casino is somewhat small and smoky. It took awhile to get on to the ship because they are not prepared to take 2100 people at one time. Once on board customer service is great and we were able to get bottomless bubbles within minutes. Camp Carnival for the kids and teens is excellent. The food is decent and you really have no worries for a full week.Ship experiences
