Fantastic Cruise!

Sail Date: August 05, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We just returned from a 7 day Florida/Bahamas cruise on the Carnival Pride. What a beautiful ship! This was our first cruise and we were very impressed. The staterooms are lovely and very comfortable, with plenty of room to move around and lots of closet and drawer space. We had a nice balcony where we could sit and relax. The service was better than most 5 star hotels! Loved the towel creations on our bed each night! The ship is beautiful, luxurious, with lots of choices of things to do. Loved the salt water pools! We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Highly recommend it.

Pros: All of the staff was so friendly and eager to please.

Cons: People smoking.

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
The layout of the ship was great\, very easy to navigate. Every inch was spotless and the decor is beautiful.
Food and Dining
The food in the dining room was excellent. The hostesses and wait staff were very helpful and accommodating. The ambiance was lovely\, very relaxed\, and the dining time choices were perfect.
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom was very well appointed. The bed linens were silky and comfy\, plenty of room to sit and relax\, lots of closet and drawer space\, and the balcony was spacious enough to sit and enjoy the sunset or sunrise or whatever.
Service and Staff
We felt that every person we came into contact with who was part of the ship staff went above and beyond in their friendliness\, and willingness to help.
Entertainment
We did not take advantage of entertainment or activities during the day\, but we did at night. There were some good shows and comedians. The karaoke and the sing-a-long piano bar were our favorites. Some of the night entertainment could have been a higher caliber.
