First Family Cruise

Sail Date: July 22, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

We were a group of six, ages 17-77. We rented a wheelchair for my mother and used it onboard and off the ship. Very handy. The rooms were a good size. The elevators came quickly to your floor. I thought the ship would be dark due to the Renissance theme , but it was bright.

Pros: 8:15 Assigned Dinner, The Bubbles Card, Days at Sea,

Cons: Limited buffet stations open after lunch hours,

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Buffet stations are to spread out, and they all should be open throughout the day.
Cabin / Stateroom
Balcony was a great choice, the rooms were comfortable. We all enjoyed the "animal towels" found in our room each night,.
Service and Staff
Our room steward was very accomodating. Our waiters at dinner were excellent, and made each nights dinner a pleasure.
