Convientent in/out of Baltimore

Sail Date: June 17, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Going in/out of Baltimore is really convienent for anyone living within driving distance.

Pros: Food, comedy shows, balcony off room, putt putt & water slide, 21+ only pool area

Cons: crowds, short port stops, decor of ship

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
Decor is awful/cheesy. Ship gets small for a 7 day cruise. 21+ adult only pool area was great - but people started reserving daybeds as early as 6 AM and then leaving. It is against the rules but the staff did not enforce the rule at all.
Service and Staff
Dinner staff was the best. rest of the ship staff was typical for a resort - helpful and attentative - but nothing special
Comedy shows were highlight. Putt putt and basketball court were fun. Gym was adequate. water slide was a blast. Evening shows had impressive production value but weren't amazing.
Food and Dining
Dinner was excellant each night.
Cabin / Stateroom
Balcony is a must - so relaxing to sit out there with breakfast or wine/snack and watch ocean go by.
