A Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: January 01, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was really nice, clean and well kept.

Pros: Family Time

Cons: Normandie Restaurant Food and Service

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Food and Dining
Evething about the food was really great. Except, for the Normandie restaurant. Service was rushed, felt like we more of an inconvenience to them. Service staff were inpolite and not accomodating with requests. We felt that they could be this way because their tip was already a guarantee and they didn't need to provide exceptional service one would get at a nice restaurant.
Service and Staff
It appeared that the wait staff in the food areas appeared to be so unhappy to be working there.
Children's Programs
My kids didn't spend much time in camp carnival for two reasons:
1. They were all separated into different groups because of their ages.
2. Other than WII games they didn't seem engage in the other activities offered, especially for the 10 older group.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Out cabin steward was really great and went out of his way to make our visit very pleasant. Rodney took the kids special requests for the animal towels.
