Fantastic Cruise!

Sail Date: January 15, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Cruised with my 88 year old mother and 20 year old daughter. Daughters first cruise. Could not have had a better time! Our Cabin Steward, Jimmy, was unbelievable! Catered to our every need. Dining room staff made meals an event. Food was fantastic - from the sit down meal in the restaurant to the Lido deck buffet to room service. Always top notch. Lots of varied activities. Staff in the gym was awesome - great classes Ricky!! Would most definitely cruise with Carnival and the Pride again!

Pros: Food, activities, staff

Cons: Cost of excursions

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Food and Dining
Excellent food everywhere.
Ship Quality
Beautiful decor. Liked that the activities and food were on opposite ends of the ship - forced walking!!!!
Cabin / Stateroom
A little tight for three people, but the balcony was nice. Our Cabin Steward made sure everything was perfect! Loved the towel animals at night - never knew what to expect.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Comedians were hilarious!
