Nice cruise

Sail Date: January 08, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We are new to cruising and this was our first cruise. We were impressed with the size of the ship. Our room was clean and larger than we expected. We had a walk out balcony which we enjoyed and would recommend. The food was excellent. We did not have a specific time to dine in the main dining area but ate on a first come first serve basis. We enjoyed this because it gave us more flexibility with our schedule, and we met different people each nite.
The ships staff was very nice but did not interact at all with the passengers. We do not know if this is common with cruise ships, but a little more interaction would have been nice.

Pros: Excellent food

Cons: Stop in ports alittle short

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
Very nice and clean, staff very nice.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
We were impressed with the size of the room. Had a queen size bed with a walk out balcony which we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.
Service and Staff
Staff was very nice and we can not really say anything bad. However, we both noticed that there was very little interaction with the passengers. don't know if this was because of the language barrier or training.
All the shows were first class, really enjoyed them
