Great Time!!

Sail Date: July 31, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Overall impression of the ship was excellent. The only drawback to the Carnival lines is that they have the lifeboats obstructing the view on the upper deck. They should try and have the lifeboats between the decks as I have observed on other cruise lines.

Pros: The staff; the amenities; the food; the service

Cons: too short a stop at Freeport/more time in Grand Turk

Recommends Carnival Pride? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Had a balcony but was semi-obstructed by life boats. Would have liked a better view!

Entertainment
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
More time needed to explore the Island past the shopping area or to just relax on the beach.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Grand Turk Island
Could have used more time to explore! Everyone is not interested in shopping!
