Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

This was our first cruise and we loved it. The ship was clean and well maintained.

Pros: The food and entertainment were incredible.

Cons: The pools were small but that is to be expected; after all it is a ship.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
There is very little at the port. We contacted Paradise Cove Beach ahead of time and a driver picked us up and took us there for several hours. Although it didn't look like much when we first arrived, the snorkeling at Deadman's Reef was incredible. This is not for inexperienced snorkelers because the reed is about 100 yards from shore and the water can sometimes get a little rough.
Grand Turk Island
The swimming pool and Margaritaville were wonderful. We didn't do the Carnival snorkeling excursion. Rather than snorkeling with 30 others, we walked 5 minutes down the beach and met Grand Turk Diving. It was just 4 of us on the boat and 2 guides.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
This has to be the most beautiful beach on the face of the earth. The water was clear and the sand powdery.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling with the stingrays.
