Really enjoyed the ship. Nice layout, elegant decor, and fantastic crew.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our wait staff was the best we've had from 5 cruises to date. The food was mostly good, but one night the kitchen backed up a bit, and food was not hot when it came to the table. Variety was good. Our seat was the best - lower floor, aft on the starboard corner, looking out an aft facing port hole.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were entertaining, but too loud. The two singers who led every show were mediocre (maybe why they turned it up so loud?). The shows were generally good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Probably the best crew we've had in 5 cruises. Our dining room head waiter (Corrina) was the BEST!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Size was good - this is a big ship. Not the biggest, but pleanty big. Did not get much rocking from the high seas left by Hurricane Earl. Generally very clean. We liked the elegant artsy decor.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
About the same as every Carnival cabin we've been in. There were some stains on the headboard material over the night stand, and our closet door was missing a pull handle to open it. We reported it upon boarding, and it was fixed 5 days into the cruise.

Pros: Getting to and from the ship in about 2 hours

Cons: Weather changed our itinerary - slowness of Baltimore port personnel in boarding and debarking process

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!
