Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

We have sailed on this ship 3 times in the last 6 months and it was always superb. the cruise director was great and the photographers took beautiful pictures.

Pros: the ships layout

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
The Pride i have found out has the best layout as far as ships are concerned. i go on these ships to relax and to spend time with my family and although carnival is usually classified as a party ship if you sail at the right time during the year it is just as peaceful and relaxing as a luxury line.
Food and Dining
the food was delicious, we proffered to dine in the main dining room as we were waited on but all the other choices were satisfactory. The cooks at the egg stations even remembered my order after the 2md time. they were always eager to please and the deli station was perfect for a snack after a show.
Cabin / Stateroom
we had a balcony stateroom as as always with carnival it was very spacious and always spotless. Our room attendant knew us all by name and always brought anything we asked for promptly.
Service and Staff
the waiter we had on our first cruise remembered us on the second cruise. also the waiter we had on the second time was even better and the third was even better. They remembered what drinks you wanted and you never had to ask for anything twice. The bar waiters did not pester all the time.
Entertainment
the shows were nice the comedians funny and the music was interesting.
Children's Programs
we were told there was 300 kids on board and we saw 4 tops so we are are quite sure that this was just as great as everything else.
