First of all, if you're looking for a cruise that won't pack on the pounds, this cruise is for you! The food is mediocre at best. At one point, I took a bite out of a pancake and had to spit it out! How do you screw up pancakes? We also spotted a cockroach in the main dining room during one dinner....not the least bit appetizing. If you choose to eat in the 24 hour grill, be prepared to experience a blast from the past. You will think you've gone back in time and are again eating in your middle school cafeteria.

The service is very good. All the staff are very friendly and our cabin steward went above and beyond in all respects. We were also able to disembark the ship with ease. For you previous cruisers, you know that getting off the ship can be nightmarish, but the staff was very organized on the Pride.

There were 3 comedians on the cruise, each one better than the next. The staff also performed a holiday variety show that was very entertaining.

Overall, we enjoyed our ports of call and spending time with family.

Pros: service was great!

Cons: food was terrible

Recommends Carnival Pride? No.
