Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: April 11, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Overall the cruise was very nice. The food was extra good on this cruise. We were also able to dock at all ports, so no tendering was involved. This was a new itinerary for this ship which might have added to periods of crew disorganization.

Pros: Opening Show. The artwork around the ship. Food. Stateroom and stateroom attendant. Cruise Director.

Cons: Crews disorgaization. Entertainment. Fixed dinner times

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Some of the staff was excellent, but not all. Hence only a good rating.
Mainshow opener was outstanding, but after that the rest of the shows and lounge entertainment was lacking.
Food and Dining
We have been on several cruises and the food was as good as we've ever had on a ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Hard to rate. We only walked to a few shops and returned to the ship. We didn't book an excursion and were uncomfortable getting off the beaten track.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
A beautiful island with wonderful beaches
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Another great stop.
