Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Had a great time. It was our first time as a family. We will definetely be going again. 6-7 days was a nice amount of time to be on the ship.

Pros: The evening dinners, our waiters became friends and taught my daughters proper ettiquitte in the use of their dinner utensils. We were told of a wonderful tamale restraunt from our waiter.

Cons: not any good bands or dancing..very disappointing. Tried every night to find something for the girls to no avail.

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
It would be benefitical if there were locator maps on board as it was difficult to figure out where you were at times.
Food and Dining
Service was excellent. Food was generally good
Entertainment
Did enjoy the towel folding, animals in our rooms every night was delightful.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony which was awesome...
Service and Staff
Had a problem with the room safe and they were there very quickly. Wonderful service
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Take the island excursion, well worth the money. Joh Huston lived here and you'll see why. Worth the entire cruise....
Mazatlan, Mexico
Skip the hotel/shopping excursion. Bad food, lousy show, could have done it for free...but did find a place down the street 1 1/2 hour massage for 25.00, not very good, but well worth the price..The girls had pedicures and said they were great.
Don't Miss: Tamale Cafe, hard to find but lots of tamales, some rolled in banana leaves. Fabulous
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Cabo is always fun...whoever would think there is a shop just for tequila?
