extremly clean inside and out

Poor dining room service, poor food, small pool half taken up by water slide. Tables not cleared of old cups and dishes often. 3rd and last carnival cruise. Will stick with Royal Caribbean from now on. Much better.

This was by far the most relaxing cruise ive taken. The comedy show was not that great but the food was good as always.

It is a nice ship, it just doesn't have all the newer attractions. The pool slide was fun, but the pools are pretty small. Overall very clean, attractive ship.

This was my first cruise ever, so I went in with really no expectactions except what others had told me about their experiences, and to be honest, even as a first time cruiser I was not overly impressed. The ship itself was fine, stateroom was larger than I expected and we had phenomenal customer service throughout the ship. But we more than once found ourselves wandering around the ship bored and looking for something to do and went to bed at 10:30 two nights! The ports were SO STUPID (Cozumel and Grand Cayman -- GC especially), the activities on board were SO STUPID (ping pong tournament, card games, underimpressive shows with the same theme both nights so they didn't have to get new costumes, etc....) and the food (which was totally the reason we wanted to cruise in the first place) was not that impressive either. Also worth noting: our pool was empty more than it was full on the cruise because people kept vomiting in it and they had to drain it and rechlorinate it before they could eventually open it back up again! And it was TINY so when you finally did have a chance to get in the pool it was literally a sardine can and you were shoulder to shoulder with other people. Since returning, I've heard things like "that's not surprising" and "sounds like our first cruise too, try Royal Carribbean next time" SEVERAL times. That is without a doubt what I will do.

Not my best Carnival cruise. I use to love Carnival cruise line but this time I was highly disappointed in multiple things. The adult pool was closed for first two days, decor was outdated and sales staff was pushy. I loved the food and the waiters. Our cleaning staff couldnt have been better.

Everything was great. Staff had a totally super attitude - total commitment to passenger happiness. Wait staff & cabin cleaners knew our first names. Cabin was good sized. Food was really good. Always something good to eat. 24 hour free rooms service. Good selection of food - main dining room had at least 7-10 selection for each course - order as many as you want. Activities were always available - we didn't spend any time in a deck chair - not that you couldn't. Port stops were great. Ship was in great shape - clean and well maintained. Never any pressure to buy anything extra - no pushing drinks, wine during meals or other costs. Bottom line - - we really had a great cruise - - wouldn't change a thing. The absolute best value in travel. Period.

really like the whole ship the games and events were fab. Met some great people on board making new friends. waiting staff were lovely remembering everybodies names fron day one. Only con cabins a bit basic Had to ask for gowns and water which should have been in room. Have ask for hairdryer too. Did not see steward except day 1 and day 5

The stateroom clean and adequate. The Dining staff and drink waiter were over and above helpful & friendly. Stateroom steward most accommodating of all request. Bartenders snide and cold.The only thing I thought could have been better was the food. Burgers dry, Chicken nuggets soft not crispy and dinner entrees just so so....just expected better. VERY Rough on luggage (broke pieces off 2 and a small cut in another)

I knew that the ship was one of the older ships on the Carnival line, I was expecting a little wear and tear, maybe not so clean, outdated interiors. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a sparkling clean, elegant interior. The crew constantly worked to keep it clean and enjoyable. Did not feel its age in the least.

We had a wonderful time on our cruise celebrating our anniversary on the Carnival Paradise. The room was actually larger than I expected and there was plenty of closet and storage space for our belongings and luggage. Our room was kept clean day and night by the staff (special thanks to Allista!!). The food was always good with a variety of choices. The buffet lines were never terribly long and was worth the wait. We had a wonderful wait staff for dinner in the dining room with many delicious choices each day. There was always a list of entertainment - day and night. The comedians, shows, game shows, etc proved to be very entertaining. I also enjoyed the serenity deck for those over the age of 21 - but there were not enough lounge chairs and often had to wait on someone to leave to have a space. Overall this was an excellent first cruise - hope to have many more - even with the kiddos next time. We did check out the "kids club" on board which appeared to be well run and had a good staff. Anyone we talked to on board with children all had good reviews of the "kids club".

The Paradise is a nice smaller cruise ship with retro decor that we found acceptable. We were delighted with the size of the grand suites with adjoining door which is great for families. Seating in the Normandie Theatre offered limited view of the stage. The $10 shopping boutique offered reasonably priced items. The ship was clean from stem to stern and the food was great.

This was my first experience with Carnival Cruise Line. I recently returned from their Monday-Saturday trip to Grand Cayman and Cozumel out of Tampa, carrying the largest percentage of overweight, smoking, heavy drinking tattooed people I've ever seen assembled in one place. If that's the type of party ship you're looking for, then you'll feel right at home.

Everything was goo except size of the ship, food was good but not what I was expecting

The decor was cheesy to me. The food was less than good. We were always entertained and had a wonderful time. That is what matters really.

The ship was awesome. Always clean. Never crowded.

The ship was beautiful; we were pleased with our stateroom; every staff member we came in contact with was courteous, helpful, kind & friendly; food was wonderful & so many options; entertainment was first rate!
