The ship was smaller than what we were used to and there wasn't enough for my kids to do (ages 12, 16 and 18.) How many times can a kid play mini-golf and ping pong?

The ship was nice. we had a suite but the balcony was small. With the execption of one night the dinners were average but the service was exceptional. The Comedy shows were very good and the spa exceptional. The debarkation process was a nightmare due to the weather and lack of communication.

Great first time trip all, but the weather. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. the Rooms very clean. The food was great and you will gain weigh t;-)

It was a great cruise. The ship was nice and the staff was exceptional. We are Platinum cruisers and are very pleased with Carnival Cruise Lines.

wonderful cruise

This was our first time to sail on a cruise and I never had such a great time like this in my entire life. I'm a retired military and my life in US Navy ship was far far diferrent from your ship. You exceeded my expectations so I rate this this cruise line perfect and excellent.

The ship is a bit older, but nice, clean and just the right size. The interior is a little dark on the color scale for me, but others might like just that. Breakfast was excellent, both buffet or menu! Lots of choices and very tasty. We only had lunch twice. It was good both times. I tried the Mongolian Grill and really liked that, the other day I had a salad. The salad bar is pretty decent with many healthy options, and my salad tasted great. The other days we were not really hungry around lunch time, so we had pizza/sandwich after lunch was over. I preferred the sandwiches. They are made to order and were really good. I also was happy to see that they have a frozen yoghurt machine. Dinner was good. We always went to the menu-dinner. There were always enough choices and some night the food was excellent, some nights it was a little closer to average. The chicken that my friend had was too dry, but the fish and seafood was very well prepared and tasted fantastic. They offered a wide range of entertainment but most of the time on the ship we just wanted to relax. We always found lounging chairs for our group of three. The room was as expected, not big but big enough. The staff was very friendly, helpful, nice, quick and the service was just great! Our room was always clean and we always had fresh towels when we needed them. We really enjoyed our cruise and would recommend it.

The ship is small but well kept. The crew was always nice. The beds were hard but the linen was warm and soft. There was no blow dryer and I thought everything was over priced by a lot! When cruises show a low price such as $399 it is for one person and you always have to pay for two. It is deceitful and should be explained clearly.

I was a nice ship. Very clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

first cruise, great time

We had a awesome time on board the Carnival Paradise. It was relaxing, the food was great and the room was nice.

The ship was ok, pretty old and starting to get "run down" This is my 2nd cruise and the ship staff were NOT near as friendly/helpful on this one as they were in the past. I am fully angered with Carnival and as they BOTH lead me to believe that we were getting (payin for I might add) a room that 3 people could sleep comfortably in. What a lie. The 3rd bed was barely a COT. The mattress was about the size of a comforter, it was the most uncomfortable thing ever, I felt horrible that my 20 yr old daughter had to pay for this sleeping arrangement. As she stated "sleeping in the lounge chairs on the Lido deck were far more comfortable". We asked for something extra to try and make her more comfortable, they brought her a BLANKET. If these rooms are not going to be comfortable enough for the 3rd person, they SHOULD NOT SELL THEM that way. I will not cruise with Carnival again, they were not honest with their customer.

Great Ship, we didn't discover the kiddie pool til the last day, that shows how large the ship is. Had a great time playing mini-golf, ping pong, swimming, the slide was great for the kids, we enjoyed the extra activities and casino. I didn't feel the coupon book for shopping on shore was worth it - save your money! Also I wasn't aware that I would be charge gratuity per person especially since we only used the dining room one night. This was almost $60 per person. Adds up for a family of 4.

The help of the dining room staff for a party of 7 adults, 1 infant and 1 toddler was much appreciated! They made dining a very pleasant experience.

The boat was in excellent condition, and clean. Staff was friendly, and generally attentive. Food was good. It is just a nice getaway cruise, not fancy, just fun and sun.

"Cheapest" Cruise, though still very nice. Ship is in great condition. Can't even tell if it's old or new. Has everything you would need. The only issue is that it's primarily for adults. Lots of drinking and smoking. No all day activity for young kids (only small time slot available throughout the cruise).

The ship was really small compared to what I have been on. I was SHOCKED that there was only one main pool and it is so old. The deck was SO hot, you could not walk on it without shoes. I could feel the boat rock all the time, and did become sea sick one night and missed dinner. The comedy and main shows were awesome.

From th food, to the service, to the entertainment, it was ALL great!!!

The ship was better than expected given it's age and size..
