The reason I rated my experience as poor was because my wife was not allowed to board even though one of their reps assured me she would be allowed. Carnival ruined my vacation as my 5 year old daughter was without her mom during the cruise. They offer no kind of refund for the additional ticket paid that was npt use because of their incompetence. That is poor customer service. Their unprofessionalism will hunt them as they are not the only cruise company.

My daughter, granddaughter and I went on the Paradise on Dec. 1st. It was their first cruise and they really enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was wonderful, the food was very good and a lot of it too and lots of things to do on board. The casino's machines were outdated and tight but besides that everything else was wonderful. We would go again.

Customer service desk personnel very rude. Food on buffets was awful.

This was our fifth cruise, our second with Carnival. We did this cruise because our church planned it as a group tour. The cruise was a good value. The food and the service were pretty much on par with other cruises we have been on. The entertainment by the ship's song and dance team and band was excellent. The cruise director, Steve, did a great job. His is multi-talented and provided good leadership as well as his own personal entertainment (juggling and playing his violin). Personnally, I am weary of all the emphasis on shopping and the way it is set up at the ports we visited (Grand Cayman and Cozumel) where the only thing to do is visit shops. I think that if the cruise lines want to be truly cruiser-friendly they will do things likw make nice beaches, walking/running/bike paths and other activities in the port area for those of us who are tired of the shopping scene. Unless we take an excursion, there is little else to do except stay on the ship, and excursions can get pretty costly. It gives me the impression that every effort is being made to add more money to the cruise line and shop owners coffers, without regard to the needs/wants of many cruisers. It's great to go to a port like San Juan where you can walk around old San Juan (as per our Eastern Caribbean Cruise with Carnival last February), visit a couple of forts, and enjoy the beauty and history of the port, with shopping still being an option for those who are interested.

Loved the \"art deco\" styling in the Atrium and around the ship. Plenty of Fun things to do, great comedy shows. Quiet time available on Serenity Deck. Very relaxing.

Ship was small, but large enough to find everything and truly enjoy the activities and shows.

We recently took a cruise on the Carnival Paradise and had a tremendous time. All of the crew on the ship were gentlemen and had an unbelievable work ethic. The food choices were wonderful and the staff so thoughtful and helpful. There were many opportunities to fill our day and information given was beneficial.

The ship was just great for the 5 day cruise we picked. Everything went well and we had a wonderful time.

Have cruised on Carnival a number of times in the past and was more than satisfied. It provides a great value when you consider it includes lodging, transportation, entertainment and food for a reasonable amount of money.

Ship was old and not very updated, stateroom was small and inconvenient. Had to get in to bed by crawling over the footboard and crawling up the bed. 1st morning, no hot water had to call for plumber. No mini-fridge for cold drinks, whats the sense of being able to bring drinks on-board but had no way to have them in the room cold. Was very hard to locate public restrooms.

This was my first experience with Carnival. The ship was old and dirty.I am on Peritoneal Dialysis and had to do an extra careful cleaning of my suite. The staff was very professional and attentive to my needs, but the ship's amenities left a lot to be desired.I must say, that between the dock stewards and the ship's baggage handlers, they did an admirable job making sure my medical supplies were promptly delivered to my suite and also on disembarkcation.

We love it all the staff at carnival paradise was wonderful very good service thank you all so very very much.We had a great time.

It was beautiful and easy to get around

Even though it was an older ship it was nice, cabin was larger than other ships we've been on. Shore excursions were fairly price and a great selection to choose from. Food was not very high quality and seemed to close very early

i had the best time ever. cant wait to go back.

Ship was clean top to bottom . Dining room food and staff were great.Lay out of cabin with single beds made more room , bathrooms seemed bigger than on other ships
