Twice we ordered a house specialty drink from the poolside Tequila bar and the drink is supposed to be made with Herradura (sp?) but the bartenders used El Jimador instead. We pointed the mistake (?) out to the bartender and got a response along the lines of “grabbing what is close by.” From that point forward I would not order a drink from that bar unless I was standing there to see what was going on.

This is a smaller ship so there were fewer options but we were okay with that as I did not want my first cruise to be on a huge ship. The pool is very small so we relaxed up near the waterslide area. We could stand under the sprayers to cool off without fighting a crowd. The fitness room was beautiful and well equipped !

Our children are grown and we spent most of our deck time on this area as we could see the ocean, enjoy the breeze and had easy access to food/drink/bathroom. With very few children on the ship it was perfect for us 😁

Service and Staff

Our dining team (Wayan/Alexandru/Petru) were so attentive and professional. They also gave us excellent recommendations. Giri and his team did an amazing job of keeping our room clean and well stocked without any inconvenience to our use of the room. John/Leon/Lulu are a great entertainment team! Salvatore and Trina were a lot of help with navigating port shopping. High marks all the way around

I was amazed!! at how clean the ship was all day long every day. Very very impressed with cleanliness!

Very comfortable, loved the USB ports by the bed and we were surprised by how much storage we had.

Ship tip

Download the Carnival app and use it. It was a huge help to keep track of event times, get reminders and check menus.

Tampa, Florida

When we were leaving the ship the Port of Tampa had TWO security screeners handling 2,000 plus people for an hour or more. Around 10 am they got aggressive 🤦🏼‍♀️and added two more. Pathetic service from Tampa for a business that provides a lot of $$ for the city.

Carnival did everything they could to have a well organized process. The Port Of Tampa only had two screeners for several hours to handle 2,000 plus people
