Review summary
We were unsure of what an experience on Carnival would bring us. Not to worry...it was incredible! The Paradise is an older ship and a smaller one but it has so much to offer. Most of the activites on the ship were not for my husband and me (we needed rest and relaxation) but no one could complain about being bored. The ship was clean and the staff and crew were so friendly and helpful.
An adult only retreat was where my husband and I chose to be most of the time. Serinity was wonderful with 2 hottubs, plenty of chaise lounge chairs and an incredible unobstructed view of the ocean. It was wonderful!
There was only one negative on the ship...the handrails on deck were very dirty. It looked as if they were never wiped down. Also, the safety rails beneath the handrails had hair wrapped around them. When we sat at the on deck dining area this was prevelent every where you looked. Please Paradise crew...make this ship perfect and clean those things!

If you have never purchased a shore excursion, please consider! Our catamaran trip to a private, all inclusive island was incredible!!!! Passion Island offered us the perfect get away. From the beach chairs to the authentic Mexican buffet to the rum punch...delicious!
