For avid cruisers this ship is terrible. Maybe \"average\" for newbies. One of the most important things on a cruise is the cuisine right? Well\, unfortunately Carnival Paradise has the worst food I've had on a cruise ship. I'm an avid cruiser\, been on every line. This one was by far the worse in terms of variety and taste. Paradise needs to step it up! On the other hand\, the resident DJs were the BEST I've seen. The music selection was awesome.

Food and Dining

The same lousy hamburgers and hot dogs every single day on the lido deck and buffet grill.. they didn't even have the courtesy to switch french fries for tater tots at least once! The food overall was tasteless and very little variety. Salad bar was awful. Vegetarians would be very disappointed.

Entertainment

TERRIBLE entertainment. Comedians were the worst and the dancers and shows were too. Ridiculous. Again\, for avid cruisers it was bad. Maybe average for newbies with not much to compare to..

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
They were okay\, not above and beyond.

Ship Quality

There were old and dusty silk plants in the planters and just looked yucky. Common areas are part of the experience\, and on this particular ship everything looked run down. Half of the hand dryers in bathrooms didn't work.

Cabin / Stateroom

Pros: Music and DJs

Cons: Food was terrible\, common areas need refurbishing

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.
