It was a nice cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Christmas decorations were a nice distraction from the unseemly decor of the ship. The ship is nice but not stunning.

Pros: Amount of time spent on the cruise

Cons: Not enough time in Grand Cayman, stateroom had unresolved problems with noise

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.

Ship Quality
Many f the staterooms had unresolved issues
Cabin / Stateroom
Food and Dining
The dinner staff was excellent and often provided entertainment with dinner. All food staff were very polite, helpful, and eager to please. All food on the ship was great and the deserts were often phenomenal
Service and Staff
There were many of the staff on the ship that were always willing to go above and beyond. I'd like to praise these staff. For the staff upset about having to work on a cruise boat they should find careers were they don't have to interact with people (though they are the minority)/
Entertainment
Comedians on the ship were phenomenal. The clubs on the ship are not enjoyable and cater to a few musical types, there are no variety in the dance clubs and that needs to change.
