Our first cruise- enjoyed it

Sail Date: November 25, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was clean, well-maintained, and overall very grand-looking. The food and service were good as well, and the rooms were a little small but cozy and well-supplied.

Pros: The food was great, and there were a variety of free activities on the ship.

Cons: We could not go on a tour without paying for it.

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Service and Staff
Some of the ship staff spoke accented English, and it was sometimes difficult to understand.
Too many "better" activities, and all of the tours, required additional payment.

We did not pay for a tour, and walked around the downtown area. It was dirty and full of peddlers; we did not enjoy the walk.
