Humbug. Go to Vegas instead!

Sail Date: November 04, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The whole point of cruising and putting up with the small rooms is the food and entertainment. Both sucked. Actually, the desserts were amazing and We enjoyed the disco and danced all night. I would not waste your time on this cruise to Ensenada....Go to Vegas! Better food, better entertainment and save lots of money.

Pros: The attention by the staff was wonderful. Very Professional.

Cons: The food was horrible!

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.

Food and Dining
On two nights I asked for a different entree than what I had originally ordered because it was substandard. The replacemebnt meal was just as bad. Two of us did this. A serving of mashed potatos would fit into a small baby food jar. Order the baked potato instead!!
On the semi-formal dinner night they seated our party of 6 next to a table of 9 kids sitting independant of their parents who were getting drunk at the next table. That made for a lovely dinner...NOT! They screamed and ran around the table. i finally had to ask a parent to control their kids. Why the dining room personel did nothing is beyond me.
Entertainment
Boring! $20 a card Bingo???
Cabin / Stateroom
small, but thats normal
Ship Quality
nice ship
Service and Staff
the steward on our floor was awesome. The other travelers in our party said the same of their Stewards
Ensenada, Mexico
If you like getting wasted, hanging upside down while taking shots and wearing a sombrero, then this is the place for you! Shop for expensive junk that they will not negotiate price on while watching starving stray dogs beg for food from the local restaurants and bars.
