This was our first cruise experience and we were pleasantly surprised. The entire trip was so well organized, from boarding the ship to the dinner services. Everywhere you went on the boat there was a friendly face to help you, serve you or just greet you. The captains dinner and meet and greet were nice and the rooms were just the right size as well. We brought our son for his 21st birthday along with our 13 year old son as well. We were totally comfortable with letting them run amok aboard the ship and both of them found their own "friends" in no time. Ensenada was smooth as silk with a trip to El Bufadora ($30 a head, but worth it). It was 22 miles of mexican roads that were pretty exciting and the shops were just as expected with great deals and a little extra help from our lovely tour guide "Hazel" about how to barter and how to avoid scams. The acid test works great and they have to do it or risk losing the sale. Dolphins over the ships side and seals in the ports. We met tons of great cruise buddies and hopefully friends for a long time. I would do it again in a minute, were are saving already.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the food was top notch and you can eat whenever and wherever you like. Outside breakfast. stateroom lunch and captains dinner. Or just pizza all day long as our son did.
Chocolate melting cake is the bomb....................

Entertainment

Some cheesy moments, but after all it was a cruise ship. We loved all of it. People watching couldn't have been better by the pool.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

All perfect...... Enough said.

Ship Quality

It really felt like a city on its side. The ship is huge, and i figured with 2000 people and staff it was gonna be like disneyland on labor day. I was really surprised at how roomy it was and strolling on the deck we almost felt like we had the boat to ourselves alot of the time. Tons of romantic little corners, but also alot of nightlife and parties as well. The clubs were popping and the bands and musicians scattered about the boat did a great job keeping you entertained even if just walking by them.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was just about perfect. Queen bed was kinda hard to get around, but comfy as could be. Only wish the window was clean on the outside of the boat.

We felt obligated at first to go see the blowhole El Bufadora but it was well worth it and we were glad we did it. Tour guide Hazel was so great and friendly.

Pros: The staff, boat, hospitality, tours, drinks and shows were all perfect.

Cons: Cost of drinks, couldnt BYOB on the cruise.
