Had a great time

Sail Date: May 09, 2011

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

Ship was fun! Loved staff, and drinks were around 6$ per drink. Pool was not very large and did not have much room for swimmers because of a water slide. It probably could fit no more that 15 adults. Ship seems a bit outdated and could use upgrade. Food was okay, but nothing great. overall, we had a great time, was great to forget our worries and disappear for a few days.

Pros: friendly staff, reasonable drink prices

Cons: food was ok, no room for swimming in pool.

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Ship Quality
A little dated. Pool was older, colors on ship seem old and could use some updating. Everything was clean and livable, and restrooms always clean.
Food and Dining
ate the food, but never went back for seconds. Nothing was amazing or tasted great. The only awesome thing we ate was the shrimp at the captains dinner. DInner times were perfect, went to the 815 time and out dining room was comfortable.
Cabin / Stateroom
very happy with room. slept 5 women and all of our luggage! large window, on empress level.
Service and Staff
very friendly staff, met no rude or unfriendly workers.
Entertainment
Fun karaoke and comedy club. They have 18 and over, when it is a bit more fun for older crowds.
Ensenada, Mexico
papas and beers is all we did, but is was all we needed to to!! awesome
Don't Miss: papas and beers! 10 beers for 20$
Catalina Island, California
not much to do in Catalina. we rented a peddle boat for an hour. Heard of a few people renting golf carts and exploring the island, but overall was quiet and we decided to get back on the ship after that.
