4 Night Baja Mexico (Los Angeles Roundtrip) Sail Date: April 18, 2011 Ship: Carnival Paradise Cabin Type: Oceanview Traveled As: Large Group Reviewed: 6 years ago
Combination Booze Cruise and Kiddie Camp. Loud club music playing all the time, everywhere you go. Even during meals. Even on the Serenity Deck.
Food and Dining

Not for people who enjoy healthy foods. Salads tasted like they had been put in bowls and wrapped for two weeks. Some veggies were rotten. Great for kiddies who love french fries and hamburgers. But even Pizza was not very good. Mass produced food.

Too much entertainment and activities. Too loud. Too kiddie oriented and bar oriented.
Service and Staff

Fabulous! Everyone was so very, very nice.

Areas kept as clean as possible. Carpets were smelly (like they would after people spilled drinks, food, etc...) hard floors were kept shiny. Seems they do the best they can. Furnishings tacky. Like cheap Las Vegas hotel.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was great considering it was a ship. Nice views fro windows. Beds comfortable and bedding comfy. Decor tacky (bright red metallic and salmon veneer).
Waste of time to go to the blow whole, mainly because all along the walk from the bus to the blow whole and back we were accosted by vendors who were selling their wares for 5 ties what I pay for the same things in the States. ie, a tacky key chain for $21? I walked away and he said, "$3?" They just try to rip you off. Restaurant Mango Mango not good. If you buy pharmaceuticals make sure you have a prescription for them (I heard it is illegal for you to have a prescription medication, even though the pharmacies try to sell you everything without a prescription). The prices in the little shop at the dock are better than in town or at the blow whole.
Pros: Staff were wonderful
Cons: Noise, Disco and Club music everywhere, all the time
