The ship was clean, you took a cruise to Catalina Island that took 14 minutes by Ferry! You could fly to LA and take a Ferry to the Island and that would be SO MUCH more cost effective. Ensenada, was very sad, dirty and very very disappointing. They charged us 80.00 for 4 days to tip the man who gave us clean towels, and we chose to reuse are old ones. I dont mind tipping but 80 dollars??!!?? I was very disgusted with this whole trip. Please do some investigation before taking this trip!!! If you are looking for a quiet vacation, DO NOT USE THIS SHIP, parents use this boat as a babysitter and the kids are everywhere, cant even use the pool or hot tubs! Unsupervised children spilled food out of our hands and running into you walking anywhere!! Just crazy!! More relaxed when I got home!!! WHAT A WASTE!

Pros: Catalina Island

Cons: Ensenada MX and the customer service of Carnival!!

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.

Ensenada, Mexico
DO NOT TAKE EXCURSIONS!!! Use the shuttle in town that goes to the same place for 40.00 cheaper!
Catalina Island, California
Rent a golf cart ant see the few historical places and the views dont pay extra for excursions
