Had a great time!

Sail Date: March 28, 2011

Room Type: Inside

The staff and service were wonderful. The carnival paradise is an amazing vessel as well, it has lots to do for everyone! We were all impressed with how systematized it all was and how well they kept it clean and working. I could tell the engineers really kept up with repairs.

Pros: Food and service!

Cons: Little too "casino get drunk silly" crowd for us

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Entertainment
The family friendly comedy shows were great, but the "adult" shows weren't interesting to us at all. We wanted to go dancing one night, but it seemed like all there was was an empty disco lounge. I guess everyone else was out partying and getting plastered, or in bed. We don't really like disco that much too... more ballroom and pop.

The blowhole was fun. We were told on land that it would cost $80 to go there and back oon a tour bus. Then our horseback riding guy recommended someone for $60. We walked a block away and found someone for $40, then kept walking and found a cab driver who agreed to take us for $30. Since I speak spanish (he didn't speak english) it worked out great for us. He was a really nice guy. Most of the people we met on the street were really nice.
Don't Miss: you should see the blowhole at least once. and the open air market right next to it is a lot of fun
Catalina Island, California
They had good food, but nothing interested us since there was such great food on the ship and it was already covered.
Don't Miss: botanical gardens
