The ship was in great shape and the crew was the most friendly we have ever cruised with. The guests were mostly blue collar types having a great time and enjoying the country and western music etc. Dress was very informal and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was great.

I have been able to get special items from the kitchen on other ships, but not this one. Whole-wheat bread is one example. We knew it was on the ship but the dining staff did not offer to get it.

What they did not tell us was that food was available immediately after boarding. Also, passengers who carried off their own luggage got off first ( 7:30 AM ). Those who had the crew carry off bags had to wait until 9 AM.

Pros: Food, Friendly crew

Cons: lack of relaxing music

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!
