Was not the best.

Sail Date: October 27, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship seemed to be a bare bones type of environment. From the state rooms to the public areas, everything seemed kind of run down and old. We were told the ship was only 10 years old but the Queen Mary is in better shape. There were only a few outside areas which made them seem very crowded.

Pros: Lots of on board activities.

Cons: The ship seemed older than it was and not very well kept up.

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.

Ensenada, Mexico
We did not go on any excursions, just walked around town. Limited shopping and depressing. Little kids were begging for food and trying to sell us things. I can't believe all the kids that are not in school and basically missing a lot by being street vendors or beggars.
