We wanted a short vacation that would not cut into our work schedules, so decided on this 3 day cruise aboard the Paradise to Ensenada. The ship was beautiful but hard to figure your way around. You had to go up 4 floors, across the ship and then down one to get to the dining room ??? However, the dinner service was fantastic. LOBSTER! (That wasn't a choice on the last cruise I took). The all day buffet is usually one of the highlights of every trip, however, the food was minimal and not very good (we had japanese food while we were in Ensenada, Does that make any sense???). Breakfast was the same everyday, and there was no Chocolate presentation like there was on the last trip. They also charged just as much for the 3 day cruise as they do for the 5 day (probably because it's on the weekend). Lastly, the day at sea was a big disappointment. Not enough entertainment, and too cold to go in the pool.
We will of course, cruise again, but probably not a 3 day. The destination I believe is the highlight and purpose of cruising, and the 3 day only stopped in Ensenada (which was fun, we did the La Bufadora tour).
If you enjoy Drinking and Dancing... this is probably a good choice for you. The ship had a few dancing spots (not our choice of things to do) and plenty of drinks (free if you went to the right place at the right time).
5 out of 5

Pros: Comedy Shows, Dinner Service, Room Service

Cons: Hard to navigate, Buffet was not as good as last cruise I was on

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!
