Embarkation went well, food service was good.Lido deck waiters stood around while empty dishes piled up on the tables. Food trays were empty on many occasions, not being refilled. The food was not up to par with other Carnival ships. Bistro style dining was a joke, very limited on choices. Everything from the first day was behind schedule, never on time. The ship itself was spotlessly clean, very well maintained. The dining room staff, room steward was great. The idea of gratuities being automatically deducted gives no incenive to the service people onboard. The pursers desk was almost useless for information. We did enjoy our cruise but would not sail on the Paradise again. Our other Carnival cruise was great....this was a let down for Carnival.
