The overall experience on the Paradise was excellent. Embarkation was well organized and efficient. There were attendants around every corner to guide you through the process and to answer any questions that may arise. The rooms were nice size. I am 6'4" and fit comfortably in the shower. Our room was serviced at least twice per day and was always clean. Room service was fast. The longest wait for an order was 5 minutes. Food service in the main dining room was excellent. The food there was good too. The wait staff quickly learned our preferences and catered to them accordingly. The midnight buffets were good, but nothing to write home about. Pizza was served twenty-four hours per day and was good. The Paris restraunt was nice. The food there was not the same quality as in the main dining room, but for a quick late lunch or snack was good. The health spa was very nice. The facilities were very clean and the equipment was up to date and always working. The pools were nice; clean and attendants collected towels and unwanted dishware promptly. The water slide was great. Opened when posted and loads of fun. Entertainment was good. Shows were appropriate for the customers aboard, but there was something for everyone. I can't think of a crew member that was not friendly. In fact, if requested, with reasonable notice, all special requests were handled with a smile. Debarkation was relaxed and efficient. You were permitted to wait in your room or anywhere on the boat to debark. Luggage was handled well and plenty of transprotation was waiting upon debarkation. Lastly, the Paradise is not a non-smoking ship. It is SMOKE FREE. That made all the difference in the world. Our vacation on the Paradise was our first cruise, and we are making plans to visit the Paradise again in the near future.
