Ridiculously Great Cruise!

Sail Date: August 31, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

But for the long line in checking out and disembarking, it was such a great cruise. Well worth what I paid for...

Pros: Music - Music Jam was great with the oldies songs and repertoire

Cons: Not too many seafood selections -- grilled tilapia, grilled squid, etc. -- grilled seafood! Long lines in Information (need more staff).

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Elation ambience is great; great waiters who sing and dance!
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Especially the shows! The casinos were just right. Also, the NO SMOKING casino areas helped asmathics like me.
Catalina Island, California
Clean, but there was a big difference in prices of goods if we had walked farther from port.
Don't Miss: Casino was closed, would have loved to see the inside.
Ensenada, Mexico
Jewelry was cheap if you know how to bargain. Antibiotics they sell looked fake! Had a tummy ache after eating the food.
Don't Miss: Horseback riding on beach. Just make sure you know how to mount and dismount or you'll get black and blue marks.
