Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our first cruise with our 3 kids, ages: 8, 6 and 2. We had a great time. 5 person cabin worked out great. 5th person is on a rollaway on the floor.

Pros: family friendly ship, dining room food

Cons: buffet food, shows

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Food and Dining
Dining room was great. Buffet was like a cafeteria. Burgers etc. on pool deck were pretty good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Clean but worn. Beds ere very comfy. Bathroom was a nice size. Lots of towels and storage.
Ship Quality
Clean and beautiful. Loved the kids pool, adults only section and minigolf.
Service and Staff
Made use of outdoor activites like mini golf, shuffleboard, ping pong and pools. Must be 48 inched for water slide. Small kids pool is nice and warm, great for under 5 years old. Shows were poor.
Children's Programs
This is why we chose this cruise and we were not disappointed. They are the only line that takes under 3. Very professional. It's not just babysitting but enriching activities. KIds enjoyed it for a few hours each day and so did we! Handled my son's food allergy with care.
