Great Mini Cruise

Sail Date: March 09, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Room Type: Suite

The Carnival Paradise is a mid level cruise ship that they are using for the smaller cruise up and down Baja California and later the Carrabien. While it is not the newest generation of large ships it is nicely maintained and has all the elements of a fun cruise despite the limited setinations in Baja. We enjoyed the pool activities, the many opportunities for dancing and listening to music and the great attitude of the current crew.

Pros: Nice room, good food and lots of things to do

Cons: More Time needed

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Great cruise direcetor, Jeff Bronston, makes a big difference.
Cabin / Stateroom
We were in a suite, nice with small balcony. Worth the extra dollars.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
For the dollars a great vacation, expecially for the family.
Children's Programs
Our 8 year old loved Camp Carnival
Catalina Island, California
Catalina is nice, a fun small island that is more a wal around spot. The ocean activities are nice.
Ensenada, Mexico
Baja California is not the most romantic or senic place, but the do the best with what they have. The drinkers loved the bars downtown.
