a Not So Wonderful Cruise!

Sail Date: September 08, 2008

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our first cruise and we had very high expectations but the overall cruise was uneventful. The food was like the Hometown Buffet restaraunt and the desserts were pretty bad. They served cheescake but it wiggled along with the pumpkin pie. I was expecting real cheese cake not one made with jello?

If you get seasick do not go on the cruise that is at sea for a day, the ship makes all sorts of noise and rocks all day. The decor of the rooms are from the 70's but the plack said the ship was built in 1998, Very outdated with the 5 dollar plastic chairs you can buy at Target for your seating pleasure outside the dining rooms.

Pros: going into Catalina and Mexico

Cons: the food!

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.

Ship Quality
very confusing to figure out which floor you are staying on and how to find the pool!!
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
The beds were comfortable
Service and Staff
