3 Night Baja Mexico (Los Angeles Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 15, 2008
Ship: Carnival Paradise
Cabin Type: Suite
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 9 years ago
This is a 10-year old ship in fairly good condition but with relatively small facilties including the pool and hot tubs. However, the service was exceptional from every level of staff during the trip including those working embarkation and debarkation positions. The food in the dining room was a great disappointment and there was no customary fancy midnight buffet. The port visit to Ensenada was just enough for a single day. We took a tour down the Gold Coast, and the tour guide was outstanding.

Pros: Service was outstanding, the suite was spacious

Cons: Food was mediocre at best and the entertainment one step above amateur; pool was too small and always crowded, and the other pool onboard was closed

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.
