Ugh I'm stuffed!

Sail Date: March 31, 2008

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We would reccommend the Paradise to anyone! The entertainment was excellent, the food was wonderful and it was an extremely nice way to travel! It was our first time crusing and my husband was unsure about it. He loved it! Lots to do and eat.

Pros: someone else doing the cooking

Cons: cigarette smoke was coming in our room via a vent

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Food and Dining
Some of the entrees were over cooked and dry.
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
The ship was extremely clean at all times.
Cabin / Stateroom
It had plenty of room and the showers are good sized. The only thing we didn't realize before was they don't come with blowdryers or irons.
Catalina Island, California
We rented a golf cart to view Catalina and saw everything there was to see in 25 minutes. There really wasn't anything to do. Shops were overpriced!
Ensenada, Mexico
We walked everywhere! The main streets were the only upkept places. We walked to the winery and the walk was through a very dirty and rundown town. Everywhere you go (even inside restaurants) people come in and bug you trying to sell their fake silver, roses, etc... That was really annoying!
