An enjoyable excursion

Sail Date: January 22, 2007

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

The ship was well kept, and busy enough to stay entertained, yet big enough to escape for some peace and quiet.

Pros: Dining experience

Cons: stateroom service

Recommends Carnival Paradise? Yes!

Service and Staff
Aside from being less than thrilled wiht the stateroom attendant, the rest of the staff was wonderful.

Ensenada, Mexico
We went horseback riding, it was nice, but very controlled. The town isn't anything special unless you're looking for something specific.
Don't Miss: You should always sample the local cuisine.
Catalina Island, California
I recommend hiking up to the botanical garden rather than renting a bike or cart. The carts especially are overpriced, and walking up there you really get a sense of the natural features.
Don't Miss: If I go back in a warmer season I'll definitely snorkle or dive.
