Review SummaryLarge ship. We sailed on the Dec 18th sailing in 2006. Ship was clean. Catalina was god, we took the inside isalnd tour, I recommend that. Ensanda was useless, I recommend staying on ship. The food was average. The nightly dine in was a waste because we were given late seting although we had requested early. We were not used to thi. Food in this formal setting was mediocre. Carnival had lots of events for people. Carnival kids camp was not good, our 3 and 5 year olds refused to go there. The women in charge were mean looking and unfriendly so we did not try to send them after 1 try. Carnival tries to push you to buy lots of stuff. Duty free and shopping was lame and expensive. They snap photos all the time. 8 x 10 photographs cost 20 bucks each, quite outrageous. Food in the casual dining room (Paris on Lido deck) was ok. Overall, the ship was clean and good for the first timer. However, staff was surly and unfriendly. I would not recommend this for a second or third cruise.

Don't Miss: Take the inside tour, very nature friendly, it takes you to the highest point
Pros: Great cabin (U80) for a family of 5.
Cons: Surly staff, lots of things not included. Lots of sales pitches.
