The ship itself was much like any other cruise ship. The staff was friendly.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We were not impressed with the food in the Main dining room. The buffet area had better tasting food. We were going to have lunch in the Main dining room but the menu was unappetizing and we ended up at the Paris room for lunch. Our first morning on the ship we were up really early so we went up to Paris room for 24/hr coffee. No coffee...all the pots were being cleaned at the same time. Can't advertize 24/hr when you are going to do that.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Production shows were very enjoyable. Enjoyed the casino and their staff were very outgoing. Wasn't impressed too much with the poolside entertainment. Most of the time they had recorded music playing (at least when we were up on the pool deck).

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Friendly and helpful. As mentioned before, we always had to get directions to our Dining room and the staff were very informative on this matter. We ate in the Destiny Room.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was clean. Found some difficulty in finding our dining room each time. The way the ship is layed out; you had to go up, go down, go up, etc, and then cut thru other areas and finally you get to your dining area. That was not pleasant.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Clean. Poor lighting. Rust on the bottom of the picture window in our room.

Pros: Staterooms were clean.

Cons: Elevators were slow moving. The location of our Dining Room.

Recommends Carnival Paradise? No.
