this was my first cruise. we were on the paradise. thought the rooms were very nice! i had heard some cruiseship cabin horror stories about another cruise line but this was not the case with carnival! very nice and comfy! our cabin attendent was so nice and professional. but the best part of our cruise was the extra effort the dinning room staff put into making our grandpa feel special on his 80th birthday! every one in the dinning room really went above and beyond the call of duty!

Pros: the wonderful dinning staff! so friendly and warm but not fake! really genuine

Cons: the pool side waiters were pushy with the liquer

Ship Quality
ship size good! a little confusing at times but enough staff to help you find your way!the cleanlyness of some of the public washrooms were qustionable. decor a little like las vegas.
Cabin / Stateroom
great for a ship! beds were really comfortable!!!
i did not par-take in the entertainment.

but ig there had been a poker championship i would have taken part
Children's Programs
my sister has an 18 month old and they watched her for only 2 hours but the staff was very nice and friendly with the kids. for the older kids it looks like they have alot of activities to keep them occupied.
Food and Dining
the food was spectacular!!!!
the chocolate cake!!!!oh my gosh!
i was on a diet when i started the cruise and i really liked they had healthyer options that tasted really good! they even had low fat high in taste deserts!

i eventually broke down and enjoyed the rest of the cuisine and it was amazing! everything was cooked very well and to my liking!
Service and Staff
ok i cannot say enough about our waiters! ernest and constantine were the best waiters i have ever had! we eat out alot at very nice restaraunts and our waiters on the paradise were soooooo good! so helpful and knowledgeable about wine. really made our trip!
Catalina Island, California
the funnest was renting a golf cart and cruising the island.
Ensenada, Mexico
i love ensanada!!!! the shopping was awesome! spend less time shopping in the downtown. go to la bufadora prices are way better.
Don't Miss: la bufadora
