Balcony all the way!
rcarpio1972
Very fun cruise
carraway2
I would probably get a window or balcony.
ne1clad
Chose another ship.

WE ALWAYS GET A BALCONY ROOM AS IT LETS US RELAX, HAVE DRINKS AND MEALS IN A MORE PRIVATE SETTING SOME OF THE TIME. WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND A BALCONY ROOM TO ANYONE PLANING A CRUISE.
davekrism
Eat at the steak house at least once. Its worth the small fee.

Definitely get a balcony, even the partially obstructed has a beautiful view
yfcmichael
Be sure to have a power strip as there is only one electrical outlet in the cabin itself. There is an outlet for shaver in the bathroom.

Go straight to the Alchemy bar! And buy the bags of peanuts at the Skybox bar. They are only $1.25. Best snack ever.
CarnivalMiracl
I will tell them not to take Carnival, but go n another cruise line!

Pack light and just sufficient for the trip. Couple of formal dresses for the formal dining nights. Definitely take advantage of the shore excursions - they are well organized and interesting. They are a good way to see the sights in a short amount of time.

Visit Eddie at the Red Frog! Great guy and made our trip!

We enjoyed the balcony. It was one of the most enjoyable part of our cruise.

NEVER LEAVE SECURITY UP TO CARNIVAL. DON'T TAKE THEM AT THEIR WORD.

Next time I'd save a little money and put the kids in the room straight across the hall from us (inside--no window).
silviacravero5
ask more questions before the trip, like how the tip works, arrangements for elderly, how are the debarkations, what's included, how cold is in the boat (it was so cold in some places)
grizzlybearsden
Make sure to get a balcony stateroom and to visit the nik and nora steakhouse for dinner and always book excursions with the cruise line
